Blackman Consulting Engineers Ltd is led by William Blackman, who has over 29 years of varied 'hands-on' experience ranging from high rise residential, commercial office and mixed use tower projects to refurbishments of important historic buildings and major fit out projects.
William has an enviable reputation for innovative value added structural engineering solutions and has extensive experience of working in all major structural materials including significant experience of post tensioned concrete solutions.
Small and medium sized projects are a passion for William who has been responsible for a large number of challenging smaller projects throughout mainland UK and the Channel Islands.
William has been personally responsible for a number of major city centre projects including the 36 storey Barclays Bank Global Headquarters building at Canary Wharf, a project of £215m project value providing 1,000,000 sq ft (net) of commercial office accommodation.
